DIRECTIONS TO THE DORR HOUSEHOLD

From AIME:
Go left out of the AIME front door. Turn Right onto 7th Ave. At first stop sign turn LEFT onto Campus Dr. Go one block and turn RIGHT onto Hackberry. At first light, turn LEFT on University Blvd (east) towards the hospital. Follow University Blvd to light by Hospital. Take a LEFT at the light (follow the exit sign) onto McFarland Blvd (heading east, but it will feel like you’re heading south). Follow McFarland Blvd past the mall on left (with the airplane, tank, helicopter veterans’ memorial), and past park also on left. At light at the corner of the park, turn LEFT. This will be Hargrove Rd. Follow Hargrove Rd. through two lights. There will be a Citgo station in front of you at the third light—take the LEFT fork to the left of the Citgo station. You are now on Loop Rd. Follow Loop Rd. for one mile. The road will make a large curve to the right (with reflector sticks in the middle of the road.) Our house is on the corner of Loop Rd. and Cherokee Rd. at the curve on your RIGHT (gray cape cod with white split rail fence out front). Go past our house and take an immediate RIGHT onto Cherokee Rd. Park immediately to your right at the side of the house and come on in!

From the Sheraton Four Points:
Get on Paul Bryant Ave. heading towards the hospital. Merge onto University Blvd. At the light by Hospital, turn LEFT (follow the exit sign) onto McFarland Blvd (heading east, but it will feel like you’re heading south). Follow McFarland Blvd past the mall on left (with the airplane, tank, helicopter veterans’ memorial), and past park also on left. At light at the corner of the park, turn LEFT. From points NORTH and WEST:
If you come into town on 82, you will automatically find yourself on McFarland Blvd. After you cross the river, keep an eye out for the mall on your left with the tank, plane, and helicopter. Then follow the directions above (Turn left on Hargrove Rd at Park).

From Interstate 20/59:
Exit at McFarland Blvd (Exit 73) and head toward the University. (an indicated West, but it feels like your’re heading north). Go through approximately 2 lights. At third light, there should be an Exxon station on your left, a furniture store on your right, and a park on your right after the intersection. This is Hargrove Rd. Turn RIGHT and follow the directions above.
